Discover free, festive fun for the whole family.
We’re filling Northern Quest with holiday cheer, and you’re invited to experience the magic all season long! Bring the whole family to race around the outdoor skating rink, sip hot cocoa and cider, and find Questmas displays sprinkled throughout the resort—all FREE for your enjoyment. Access Questmas Headquarters from the River Tower lobby. Plus, find festive selfie spots all around property and spread your holiday cheer by tagging @northernquest and using #QuestmasSpirit when you post your photo on social media.
Join us on Saturday, December 14, for a magical visit from Santa and two of his reindeer. Snap a photo and say hello from noon-6pm at Questmas Headquarters in the River Tower.
From birthdays to holiday parties, make magical memories with your group at our skating rink! Private bookings are offered Mon-Thu, 11am-3pm, based on availability. Email resortexperience@northernquest.com for details.

While skating is free and available for the whole family, we ask that you follow a few rules to keep it fun for all. To ensure everyone can partake in the festive fun, we ask that you limit your skating session to 50 minutes. Skate and helmet rentals are available at no charge. If you choose to use your own skates, please note that synthetic ice can dull skate blades faster than conventional ice. We’d be happy to sharpen your blades following use on our rink. We’re not responsible for any damage to your personal skates.
A waiver must be signed before a skater of any age uses the rink. Skaters under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. If the guardian chooses not to skate with a child under 15, they must visually monitor the child from the side of the rink during the entirety of the skating session. Please check in at Questmas Headquarters before accessing the skating rink.
Save time when you get to the rink by signing your electronic waiver via the link below. Once you arrive, simply check in and a Team Member will allow you rink access.
